Technoir
I mentioned, way back on the first episode of On The Radar, a cyberpunk RPG that had caught my eye. It was called Technoir, and was on kickstarter, being pitched as “high tech, hardboiled roleplaying”. Well, you can now get yourself a copy of the game from DriveThruRPG. I was really impressed by the playtest version of this game, and I think you should check it out. Take a look at it here.

What’s the main difference to other cyberpunk RPGs? The light rules seems to have a different, more “indie” approach (acc. to the sample PDF) in comparison to e.g. Shadowrun.
This game is not about long lists of cyberware, or guns or stuff like that. This game and Remember Tomorrow (from Box Ninja Games) are very much story-games that draw heavily on the fiction of the genre. It deserves a full review, and hopefully I will get to that in the not-too-distant-future.
