Episode 36 – Games, Games, Games!
Okay people. This episode is unedited, raw and has no show notes. Sorry for this, but I really want to get this episode out before I fly to Brisbane tomorrow. Enjoy it. Maybe I will get to the show notes when I get back. Leave your feedback here, on iTunes or at the facebook page.
Cheers,
Nathan & Marty

Shorter is better. And more Grace is better to.
So, what I am hearing is you want less of Marty and Nathan and more Grace…
YES
No seriously. The shorter episodes are easier for you to do. I think as a listener I´ll get better quality material if the hosts don´t feel pushed into more then they have time for. Also podfading is less likely.
About Grace. I think having a third hosts adds to the show. Just take morning talk-show as an example. They will generally have two men and one woman as hosts.
Having a permanent third wheel doesn’t always equal awesome. While Grace is a nice guest to have, she should not be a constant guest just so she doesn’t tire us out with her presence. It has happened on other podcasts I’ve listened to. A great guest becomes a permanent co-host and they run out of interesting stuff to say. Then they start trying too hard for jokes and it gets old.
The two men/one woman ratio was setup during the 90s to please the dumb guys with an attractive chick and please the women with a woman on an important show (pro-feminism). With this being only an audio show and 2010, the need for that ratio isn’t needed anymore.
I personally wanted to hear more than 26 minutes of show. The program seemed to start on a tangent near the end and suddenly stopped mid-thought. I would prefer between 30 to 60 minutes (not counting the intro and outro) and complete discussions on each subject.
You and Marty can of course continue to strive for around 30 minutes, just please make sure to fully discuss everything that interests you in whatever subject you are talking about. The whole point of listening to your show is to hear what you have to say after all.
Good points guys. Marty and I will continue to explore the grey boundaries between what we want to give and what we can deliver, and hopefully continue to produce a show you enjoy listening to. Keep the feedback coming!
Grace isnt a co-host, more like a permanent loving house pest. like those termites you just cant shift without there being structural damage. Grace has been appearing more frequenlty purely as a consequence of her being round when we are recording, and i can only take so many ‘looks’ from the corner of the room
Grace will likely chime in now and then when she feels she has something to say or a question that she thinks could be of interest…. or when she wants to shout something at me
Martin… stop trying to help
LOL. You crazy kids.
I like the shorter eps. Much more my cup of tea. And by alternating the episodes, I think you give yourselves time to explore the weekly topic.
